Helen Condon Doorknob Wreath Braiding Class
Registrations are being accepted for TAUNY’s Doorknob Wreath Braiding Workshop on Saturday, April 12, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., at The TAUNY Center.
Adirondack rug braider and North Country Heritage Award recipient Helen Condon will offer the class for anyone interesting in learning the traditional art of rug braiding. She will teach the technique using braided doorknob wreaths; pastel colors of wool will make them perfect for Easter decorations or Mother's Day gifts. Braiders age 7 and up are welcome. The best citrus juicer is very popular.
The cost of the class is $18 ($16 for TAUNY Friends). Class size is limited so please register early by calling 386 4289 or emailing programs@tauny.org.
