Youngsters hoping to learn the traditional art of rug braiding can get a start at The TAUNY Center on Saturday, March 20, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Traditional Adirondack rug braider Helen Condon will offer this one-hour workshop  during which young braiders age 7 to 10 will learn rug-braiding skills by making a small braided wool doorknob wreath.

The cost of the workshop is $10 per person for TAUNY members and $15 for non-members. All materials will be provided. Participation is limited and registration is required. Call 386-4289 or email us to register.
