At the close of "North Country Noggins," TAUNY's mini-exhibit of knitted and crocheted hats "suitable for use in the North Country," Executive Director Jill Breit announced the winner of the People's Choice Award.

"There were a lot of contenders," she says, but the greatest vote getter was Playful Days on the North Country Frontier by Sarah Crotty. Sarah's prize was a selection of yarn from Linsie Woolsie yarn shop in Canton.
