Saturday, October 26 is the final day that visitors can see the exhibition “From Jamaica to Peru,” curated by Ben Stechshulte at The TAUNY Center in Canton. This photographic exhibition chronicles a season of work at Forrence Orchards, Peru, NY, where over 600,000 bushels of apples are harvested each year. To celebrate harvest season and the closing day of “From Jamaica to Peru,” TAUNY invites the community to see the exhibition and enjoy a variety of apple-based refreshments from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm on October 26th. TAUNY’s demonstration kitchen will be open, and samples ranging from pie to cakes to cookies and juice will be served.  Many of the recipes will come from TAUNY’s award-winning cookbook, “Good Food, Served Right.” The event is free, though donations are welcome.
