TAUNY will host a reading and book signing for two recently released books that celebrate life and living in the foothills, valleys, and mountains of the Adirondack North Country. Everyone is invited to the free book release event at The TAUNY Center on Thursday, June 27, at 7 p.m.

North Country Reflections and Adirondack Reflections are collections of essays about life in our region, edited by Neal Burdick and Maurice Kenny. The two-book set includes reflections on small town and rural life, as perceived by natives of the region and people who have relocated here.

Burdick and Kenny will be joined at The TAUNY Center by several of the essayists whose work appears in the books. John Radigan, Ellen Rocco, Chris Angus, John and Nancy Berbrich, Oscar Sarmiento, Natalia Singer, Paul Graham, Betsy Tisdale, Betsy Kepes, Rick Henry, and Varick Chittenden are among the authors invited to read from their essays and discuss their reflections.

Both books will be available for sale in TAUNY’s North Country Folkstore.
