Are you hoping to create an award-winning gingerbread house? Would you like to create a spectacular centerpiece for your holiday table?
Learn the tips you’ll need on Saturday, November 10, at 2 p.m. at The TAUNY Center, when Rebecca Weld of Renew Architecture and Design presents an illustrated talk on gingerbread building techniques.
Rebecca, who has wowed the public with her elaborate gingerbread houses in past TAUNY Sugar & Spice contests, will share her own techniques as well as a variety of other approaches to designing and constructing gingerbread houses. The talk will be suitable for beginning and advanced gingerbread house builders. Bring your questions, and leave with inspiration and know-how for this year’s project!
For those planning to enter the TAUNY Sugar & Spice gingerbread contest (more details here), or those just looking for a fun, creative family project, Rebecca’s talk promises to improve your building experience.
The gingerbread techniques presentation is free, but please let us know if you are planning to attend by calling (315) 386-4289 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
