TAUNY is pleased to be one of several North Country organizations to recently receive funding from Ronald McDonald Charities of Northern New York.
“We are grateful for the generous donation to our Evergreen Campaign for renovations to The TAUNY Center,” said The TAUNY Center Project Director Varick Chittenden. “Phase II of our project includes creation of an Education Gallery on the second floor of the Center. In that space, we visitors—especially children—will meet and learn from master traditional artists of all kinds, with workshops, demonstrations, concerts, and school classes. We welcome Ronald McDonald House Charities as a partner in our educational programming. “
Ronald McDonald House Charities seeks to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children.
Ronald McDonald recently joined James O'Donnell, President of the Board of Trustees of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern New York, to present TAUNY’s check to Evergreen Campaign Honorary Co-Chairs T. Uhring and Mabel Walker and Varick Chittenden, The TAUNY Center Project Director, and Kristen Whittier, TAUNY Development Director, on behalf of the Campaign committee, board and staff.
